EXPERIENCE

As a member of the centre I have realized the meaning behingd the term "kung fu family". My sifu once told me "Your father gives you life, your Sifu gives you the chance to keep it".

I have always remembered this phrase in my heart as I give my outmost thanks to my Sifu, Sunny Tang. From thie time spent at the school learning to the countless hours outside the school learning, I have had the opportunity to learn not only about ving tsun, but about the life behind the martial arts.

I am grateful for all the limited but meaningful talks with my SiGung Moy Yat, along with the many opportunities I had to converse with my kung fu uncles Jeffery Chan, Micky Chan and Peter Pajal. I also would like to thank my SiHing Charles Cheng for providing me guidance through our many late night chats.

My best experiences and memories come not from the training floor, but off of it. Most memorable was my Sifu's 50th birthday where it was celebrated with my SiGung and my many kung fu uncles from across the country and abroad. It is those times of celebration that I cherish most.
